Division of Psychology

The Division of Psychology was established in 1993.

In the ensuing period of rapid growth and high student demand, standards have been externally endorsed as 'excellent' in the teaching of psychology at undergraduate and masters levels, with the provision of first rate accommodation for both teaching and research.

The Division is one of a small number that has gained accreditation by the British Psychological Society (BPS) for both its undergraduate and masters courses in Psychology.

We are committed at the highest level to underpinning undergraduate and postgraduate teaching with research conducted by our own academic staff.

We have an international staff body with extensive research and teaching interests in all aspects of psychology, but with a particular emphasis on the new and more dynamic aspects of this exciting and rewarding subject.
